Thanks to an extensive warehouse inventory and our traditional hand-fed printing presses, in both Spokane and Portland, we have the ability to print and ship bags with quick turnaround times.
There’s no question the bag industry has evolved since Justus Bag Company was founded. Though we have grown to keep pace with the changing demands and expectations of our clients, there are some things that will always stay the same.

History
A family-run company for three generations, Justus Bag Company specializes in supplying high-quality packaging. The company was founded in 1959 by Roland “Curly” Justus in Spokane, Washington.
In 1968, Justus Bag Company moved its operations a couple of miles east after a fire at the original building. The company expanded in 2008, adding a Portland, Oregon branch.
Present
Today, Justus Bag Company employs about two dozen staff members and services the packaging needs of numerous industries, including grass seed, pulses, feed, onion, and other industries in the U.S. and Canada.
Products include a variety of packaging types and custom printing (for both domestic and import products), along with offering custom graphic design services.
The Portland location focuses primarily on printing services. Meanwhile, the Spokane location has printing services and maintains an inventory of large quantities of various plain bags.
The capabilities of the two facilities allow for quick order completion and delivery. Finished products can often be delivered to customers in the West and Pacific Northwest (from California to Montana) in two days.
Justus Bag Company has an SQF food safety program in place to provide customers with assurance bags are safe and reliable.
Our company is audited on an Annual basis by ASI Food Safety to ensure that our practices stay up to date.
We continue working on and improving our program to keep up with the needs of our customers and the industries that we serve.

Cancer Can't
Cancer Can’t is a non-profit organization started by Jonathan Van Keulen and his wife Becky during his battle with cancer in 2014. Jonathan has since passed and Becky continues the work.
Their mission is to help people fighting cancer in the Inland Northwest by improving their daily lives and circumstances.

The Christmas Bureau provides holiday assistance to individuals and families in need throughout the Greater Spokane area.

The HUB Sports Center
The HUB Sports Center is a place to connect with your Community and a Cause. The HUB Sports Center is a nonprofit, community-based regional sports venue, in partnership with other community non-profits, where youth, adults, and seniors take part in a variety of events and activities.
Every young person has a dream of doing something great, of giving their lives to a cause greater than themselves. The HUB is a place to dream such dreams, to discover destinies, and become the “cause” for which they were created. Our purpose in life is best discovered when we jump into serving others.
